Animation and Special Effects

Then Somehow

We were engaged by the training provider Then Somehow to create a full suite of animated e-learning video courses. An unexpected logistical problem led to an interesting innovation.

We built a logo package, graphical stylesheet and explainer video for the biogas training provider, designed to engage their target audience, while expressing the company's USP and product benefits.

The Mischievous Gnome

This was just good fun. We were asked to animate a children's book. The images had already been created by the illustrator and did not lend themselves to 3D, so we animated 2D characters moving in a 3D environment, as the book's pages turn.

Ouch! Personal Injury

The company came to us with a well developed idea of how they wanted to communicate their message. We were able to take this brief and create a series of characters, graphics and animations to help them make their media content strategy a reality.

Eloquent Oracy

This was a real challenge. We had to take iluustrator Amy Bradley's illustrations and make them come alive, as professional storyteller Chris Connaughton told the tale.

As well as getting the animations and the live action to interact, we used proven psychological techniques to provide visual elements that would help children engage and learn new vocabulary.
